Fluoresco Updates Creighton School District Signage
Fluoresco has received high marks from a Phoenix school district for upgrading its signage.
The Creighton School District needed an updated, more visually stimulating method of communicating with its students, staff and community residents.
So, the K-8 district turned to Fluoresco’s Linda Baer for her expertise. For eight of Creighton’s elementary schools, she recommended retrofitting the old-fashioned manual reader board pylons with new 34mm Daktronics electronic message centers.
The scope of work also included fabricating and installing one pylon and relocating another. Finally, Fluoresco trained each school’s staff in the technology, allowing them to wirelessly inform the district and the community of their school’s upcoming events, schedules and accomplishments.
“Our work for the Creighton District increased communication and, we hope, made the educational experience better for students and staff,” says Larry Newton, Fluoresco’s Phoenix Branch Manager.
